  1. We purchased 5 of these trucks last year (2020 model VNL 860). The cab components – especially the cabinet handles, are very poorly made and break rather quickly. The outside mirror glass likes to fly off randomly. The hood latches break a lot. And I mean a lot (4-5 times in the first ~100,000 miles so far in several of the trucks). Wiring issues. Refrigerator freezer doors broke on every single truck. Shocks worn. Body panel brackets break and body panels fall off. Seats fall apart.

    We purchased these over-priced trucks in the hopes we could get some trouble free trucking in for a year or more. Even though the trucks are fixed under warranty, we lost so much time putting them in the shop and not trucking it is not worth the cost of the trucks. We have a 2016 VNL we purchased new and the quality is significantly lower in the 2020 version.

    The trucks look pretty but the quality is horrible. Problems listed above have occurred across most of the fleet and are not isolated events.

    Do not buy these. For the love of God, save yourself the heartache and DO NOT BUY THESE TRUCKS.
